POCO India has rolled out the first major OTA (Over-The-Air) update for its latest flagship smartphone, the POCO F7. The update, version OS2.0.102.0, focuses on boosting camera performance and refining system stability, directly addressing feedback from early users and the wider POCO community.
Camera Enhancements The camera system has received several user-requested improvements, including:
- Natural-Looking Skin Tones & Facial Detail: Portrait shots now capture more accurate brightness and better facial contrast.
- Sharper Images: Whether in low light or bright daylight, photos now retain finer details with reduced blur.
- Improved HDR Handling: High Dynamic Range images, especially bright skies, appear more balanced and less washed-out.
- Vibrant Outdoor Colors: Landscapes and greenery now reflect richer, more lifelike colors.
- Thermal Optimization: The device now manages heat more efficiently, leading to better long-term performance and stability.
- June 2025 Security Patch: The latest Android security update has been added to enhance system protection.
What’s Next? POCO has confirmed that another update—OTA3—is expected by the end of August 2025, with further refinements and new features based on continued user input.
